Darin Finch is the visionary CEO of Epic Comeback, where he channels his transformative leadership philosophy into creating pathways for others to achieve their own remarkable turnarounds. Through his three-decade journey in organizational development and IT leadership, Darin has mastered the art of building resilient systems and teams that thrive through change. His time as a caregiver awakened a deeper mission: to combine technological innovation with genuine human connection in service of those facing their own comeback stories. As a California native and MBA graduate, Darin brings a unique blend of Silicon Valley mindset and heartfelt empathy to Epic Comeback, where he leverages advanced digital solutions to empower clients on their journey from setback to success. Under his guidance, Epic Comeback has become more than a business—it's a testament to the power of experienced leadership in turning life's challenges into opportunities for transformation.

Cindy's profound understanding of trauma recovery—as both a survivor and a seasoned clinical therapist specializing in post-traumatic growth—forms the backbone of Epic Comeback’s compassionate and clinically-sound programs. Born and raised in California, her personal and professional experiences were the firsthand knowledge and lived experiences she used to create our curriculum, making it deeply impactful and evidence-based.

Kelly Burnett, a native Californian, with her extensive experience in clinical management and nursing, serves as a vital Board Member for Epic Comeback. She leads our person-focused initiatives, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and accessibility, particularly for hidden or underserved populations. Her profound expertise spans oncology, hospice, and home health care, enabling her to guide our programs with compassion and precision. Kelly's leadership embodies our commitment to delivering quality care that reaches every corner of our community.

Kelly Nichols
Kelly Nichols, an accomplished illustrator and creative specialist, serves as a board member for Epic Comeback. She is the talent behind the illustrations in the Epic Comeback workbook, bringing vital concepts to life with her artistry. Beyond her professional achievements, Kelly is a dedicated advocate for the underdog and a female entrepreneur who owns her own business. Her commitment extends to creating murals in children’s hospitals and leading discussions on challenging topics with her art. Together with @kidnichols, Kelly is changing the world one color at a time, making her an invaluable asset to our board.

Zach Finch
Zach Finch enhances the Epic Comeback Board with his fine tuned understanding of user experience and interface design for websites, applications and many other forms of digital media. His work aligns our digital products with the needs of our customers, and fosters a greater connection to the insights from our digital audience. Drawing on his personal experiences and strong self-awareness and empathy, Zach's passion, insights and dedication are crucial in defining the visual identity of Epic Comeback, making him an invaluable member of our team. Although he’s worked and lived all over the country, he was born and raised in California and still calls the Golden state his home.

Jordan Adams
Jordan Adams, a California native, excels in her dual roles as an industry educator and a specialist in client services on the Epic Comeback Board. With her roots in the beauty industry beginning at the prestigious Aveda school where she graduated in 2013, Jordan has consistently elevated her expertise. Starting her career as a receptionist in high school at City Looks salon and progressing to a lead stylist and head educator at a beauty college, Jordan now thrives as a lead client experience agent at Pivot Point. Renowned for being a “Daymaker,” her profound understanding of client interactions and her exceptional ability to elevate and empower individuals highlights her commitment to outstanding education and services. This commitment creates a nurturing and supportive environment, crucial for empowering participants on their paths to healing, making Jordan an invaluable member of our board.

Chris Adams brings his dynamic passion for visual storytelling to the Epic Comeback Board as a seasoned SoCal director, cinematographer, and storyteller. He expertly captures the essence of transformation, vividly showcasing the resilience and challenges faced by his clients. With over 18 years of professional experience Chris has owned multiple successful production companies that still exist today. Currently leading Drive Media, a team of daring artists, Chris specializes in capturing the indomitable spirit of athletes and the challenges that they face. From TV shows and national advertisements for major brands, to documentaries and passion projects, his work highlights stories of endurance and victory. Chris’s leadership ensures that Epic Comebacks message is visually compelling, reaching audiences with authenticity and inspiring real change.

Brandon Finch
Brandon Finch serves on the Epic Comeback Board as a Financial Strategist, bringing with him a business degree and a background in growing nonprofits. His expertise in finance and budget management is essential for ensuring the fiscal prudence and sustainability of our organization. With personal experiences of cancer in his family and significant personal loss, Brandon embodies both the head and the heart of our financial operations. His deep understanding of generosity and giving shapes the financial integrity and compassionate outreach of Epic Comeback, ensuring our programs can continue to offer support where it's most needed. Brandon calls Costa Mesa, CA his home.

Kathy Purdy, LMFT
Kathy Purdy, an Orange County, CA trauma expert, contributes her seasoned expertise in therapy to the Epic Comeback Clinical Advisory Panel. Holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, she specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT and EMDR, both of which are acclaimed for their transformative impact. Kathy’s proficiency with these techniques and her down-to-earth, compassionate style makes her an essential resource in steering the clinical strategies of our programs. Her holistic view on well-being and her dedication to helping others transform both highlight her crucial role within our panel.

Jennifer Plisko, LCSW
Jennifer, a long-time California resident, is an invaluable member of the Epic Comeback Clinical Advisory Panel, bringing over 20 years of clinical experience in social work. She earned her MSW from the State University of New York at Albany. Jennifer's extensive experience covers a range of clinical settings, including Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, and both Individual and Group Outpatient Therapy. Her broad expertise and deep understanding of diverse therapeutic environments, plus her sassy grit, make her a critical asset in shaping the clinical direction and efficacy of Epic Comeback's programs.
